Don't @ me, I really like this game and its music!

So, funny story! I did a cover of this song clear back in 2017! I wouldn't consider it a good recording, especially since it was just a boring two-and-a-half loops with no really interesting stuff added. Plus, I sucked at recording in 2017 in general, so I look at that recording and think, I'll get back to it one day! And now here we are, with probably one of the sickest songs I've ever been able to record! Just such a cool part, with super fun leads!

This one, I really put my new template through its paces to see what it feels like. I've created a structure for how I record my leads, but I've limited myself to using only six tracks, in hopes of simplifying my recordings. It's been an interesting experiment to try and keep everything locked down in only six total tracks, but I think it's been worth it in the long run!

Mixing wise, I wanted to try something different with my leads. I decided to use a preset I made in Nolly X, inspired by one of the preset lead tones. I'm very happy with the results in that regard, and it's definitely much closer to the lead tone I've been after this whole time! I've never felt I was able to make a good lead tone, so it was nice to make something I think fit really well! Everything else was exactly what you'd expect; nothing else really changed at all, it was really only the leads that did.
