PERANG KOSOVO, GENOSIDA ETNIS & BOM NATO | Eps. 5

Pada tahun 1999, pasukan udara NATO mengebom Yugoslavia. Jet-jet NATO membombardir Serbia tanpa henti selama 78 hari. Gemuruh ledakan menyelimuti Yugoslavia, termasuk Serbia. Jembatan, kantor pemerintahan, pangkalan militer hingga stasiun televisi hancur lebur.

Tapi di balik gempuran udara itu, ada sebuah tragedi yang lebih mengerikan. Tentara Yugoslavia dan paramiliter Serbia melancarkan aksi Ethnic Cleansing di Kosovo. Desa-desa dibakar habis, warga sipil ditembak acak tanpa pandang bulu. Lebih dari satu juta etnis Albania di Kosovo diusir dari tanah kelahirannya. Mayat dibuang ke sungai, dan kemudian dikubur massal. Anak-anak menangis di kamp pengungsian. Masjid-masjid dibakar. Ladang-ladang berubah menjadi kuburan massal.

Dalam hitungan minggu, Kosovo berubah menjadi neraka. Di ujung abad ke-20, dunia sekali lagi menyaksikan genosida di tanah Eropa. Ini bukan sekadar kisah tentang perang. Ini adalah kehancuran, pengkhianatan, dan awal dari tuntutan kemerdekaan yang tak bisa dibendung. Tapi apa sebenarnya yang membuat NATO menggempur Serbia? Apa yang terjadi di Kosovo?
