Bringing the Hebrides to you: A walk in North Uist

1st June 2020, permitted exercise within 5 miles of our home in North Uist in the Outer Hebrides, off the West coast of Scotland.

Dougal, my faithful Jack Russell Terrier Dog (mixed with a bit of border collie) and I, we visit the North West corner of the island and enjoy a STUNNING walk. I didn't take my camera (I was hoping to go kitesurfing but there was no wind) and it would have been such a shame not to share this glorious day with you, so I did the best I could with my iPhone.

We take a look at the nature of the area - the crystal clear turquoise blue sea, the white sandy beaches, the lush green machair, and of course there is LOTS of Dougal playing ball. It was about 20 degrees and the gentle breeze was warm. Such days are not typical here in the Outer Hebrides so you have to make the most of them when they come!
