𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀, 𝗮𝗹𝗹!

This time of year always has me in a sentimental, reflective mood. What an incredible two years it has been. When I look back at everything that’s happened, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for every person, place, stage, and song that carried me forward. It all started with the release of my two new albums, 𝘿𝙞𝙨 𝙙𝙞𝙚 𝘿𝙤𝙧𝙨 and 𝙃𝙖𝙧𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙮, projects that opened the door to so many unforgettable moments.

Then came the 𝘚𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘥 Reunion at Daisy Jones Bar in Stellenbosch, a magical afternoon with a 13-piece band, celebrating a journey that began with the very first 𝘚𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘥 recording back in 2011.

In 2024, after three months wandering through Mediterranean countries, I played intimate shows in the Netherlands, quiet rooms, big hearts, and connections that stay with me.

When I returned to South Africa in October, I jumped straight into the Coming Home / 𝘛𝘶𝘪𝘴𝘬𝘰𝘮𝘴 tour, travelling over 9,000 km to share the new music with audiences across the country.

From Big Folk Africa to performing with Valiant Swart to the Oceanic Heart Tour – 15 000 km across SA and Mozambique, including STRAB – each experience felt like a celebration of music, community and the open road.

In 2025, I visited Namibia to perform at Touch of Style Interiors’ 30th anniversary in Windhoek, then returned to the Netherlands for more performances. Studio work followed back home, leading up to 𝘋𝘪𝘦 𝘙𝘦𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘦𝘳’𝘴 debut at 𝘈𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘬𝘭𝘰𝘱 2025, a festival filled with creativity, laughter, and the best kind of chaos.

Most importantly, these years gave me the gift of reconnecting with friends, fans, and fellow travellers, between shows, across borders, and in the quiet moments in between.

𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗺𝗲. 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿.
