I've seen people comment on other videos about vintage Fender amps things like "man, these things must need a lot of work" and then there's always some dumb emoticon.*

I suppose that's one way to look at it.

I would suggest a better way of looking at it is "this amp is over 60 years old and after some relatively routine service that the amp was designed to receive, it will be going strong another 20 years before it needs more work."

And in this day and age of disposable everything, that's pretty awesome.
