A fun London parkrun tourism adventure to Southwark parkrun, trains, tubes, running & clippers!

Starting out plan to try and get LonDone over the coming months, we headed to Southwark parkrun for this week's parkrun adventure. So Iona didn't have to get up to early we travelled part way on Friday night having found a bargain Travelodge deal by the station in Milton Keynes.

Southwark parkrun was a lovely three lapper which we followed with a delicous breakfast in the cafe in the park and some great playground faff.

Then having persuaded a friend who we bumped into after parkrun to join us on a London adventure we headed off to catch a Thames Clipper, it took us a little while to find a pier where they pick up from at weekends but then we swooshed down the river admiring the sights and arrived at the newly opened Battersea Power Station, which is awesomely impressive!

A bit more playgound faff in Battersea park we then wended our way home, another great day of parkrun adventure.
