There was anger and confusion in the House of Commons on Wednesday as British MPs voted on whether to back an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
There were mass walkouts, and calls for the Speaker of the House of Commons to resign, but what caused the controversy?
The Scottish National Party (SNP) called a motion demanding a ceasefire.
But the Speaker of the House of Commons, Sir Lindsay Hoyle, caused outrage when he permitted the Labour Party to table an amendment to the motion, breaking Parliamentary convention.
All three parties have accused each other of playing politics over the issue.
Meanwhile, in Gaza, the war rages on, and by some estimates the Palestinian death toll will soon reach the grim milestone of 30,000 people.
