South Wairarapa Showdown - Can The New Gear Rise To The Occasion?

Kia Ora Team, on this hunt we head back into one of my favorite hunting areas, Aorangi Forest Park.

The blind I found is beginning to get a bit of use by others which is clear by small changes and the odd piece of rubbish left.

On this hunt we see a range of animals, however most are on the move, disappearing behind cover, making it difficult to get onto them for a shooting solution.

It was great to be out on another hunt. A shame we didn't come home with a deer, however I only have myself to blame for that with inadvertently selecting a new profile on the Kestrel, resulting in an incorrect ballistic calculation (such a simple error which I caused by accidentally selecting a new gun profile - this has since been fixed).

A great lesson to learn, which can be prevented by user settings within the Kestrel.
