After coming back into Washington during our May 2025 trip we stopped at PF&S model railway supply then headed for the Gorge. We got down there a little after 5pm in hopes of nothing more than scouting it for a future trip. To our surprise we were able to catch a bit of traffic that evening. UP even had a few on the Oregon side but they were too quick or sporadic.
