A Crazy Journey From Peru To Bolivia (Peru Hop Review)

We've had an epic week in Cusco and exploring Peru, but it's time to move on and for the next lot of travel we had a decision to make. Should we spend the money, almost $1,500 on flights, or take on a classic South America adventure? Instead using the money on experiences, randomness and seeing more of the rural areas?

Adventure won out after we found Peru Hop buses - this isn't sponsored, but they genuinely seemed to be the most efficient way for travellers to make sense of the public bus setup in South America. Peru hop is a hop on hop off kind of system, it also runs as Bolivia Hop there, and just makes it much easier if you don't speak Spanish. We had some concerns about safety, efficiency, comfort etc and for the most part everything was all good! ... other than the leaking window and stinky toilet, but we'll take that.

It also meant we had the chance to jump on a couple of cheap tours to explore on Lake Titicaca, both from Puno in Peru and Copacabana in Bolivia.
