These days, social media bombards us with courses, apps, and products that promise to make us calmer, smarter, fitter, richer, and happier, with more confidence and freedom, more followers, and killer abs. "In just two weeks!!!"

It's not surprising then, that more and more people are claiming that "ADHD is SUPERPOWER!" Hey, I get it. Positivity is great. But everyone seems to be ignoring a long-term cost that you won't find on any symptom list or screener test. For me, realizing this cost has been a powerful motivator to work on managing my ADHD symptoms.
