As the Banana Shallot seedlings now had 3 leaves on the plants and a healthy root system,today was the time to plant them out into the garden soil.
These are simply placed into dibbed holes 3 inches apart firmed in and watered.
The variety is Zebrunne but nearly all the Banana Shallot types are the same,making huge single shallots up to 5 oz each from each plant.
I sowed the seed in late February so it's just over 2 months from sowing to planting and they should be ready by late July time.
