I Overheated my Longboard Scooter

I finally got my Long scooter working after misaligning the flywheel by 60 degrees.
I decoupled the flywheel while doing a top speed run so I fixed it by keying the nut on the output shaft with screws and Dremel-cut grooves.
It ran great, fired up quickly when bump starting it, and went fast!
I kept up with Jonah’s 800 watt scooter in sport mode.
After 3 miles of riding and a full day of fun, the engine overheated and I have a feeling it was that yellow guard blocking most the engine’s airflow.
That engine has done me well, and I gained a lot of valuable experience from this build that I can apply to future builds.
Don’t worry, I’ll have the long scooter up and running soon.
I have 4 other motors to use. Hehehehehe
