The first step of body work is to apply fibreglass reinforced filler over all the welded seams to add strength and durability. Fibreglass reinforced filler is a dense texture which makes it a) hard to apply and b) even harder to sand off. A simple and easy trick is to add polyester resin to the mixture to thin it out which causes a smooth application that requires little to no sanding 🚨
