Metallica - Orion Drum Cover

In memorial today of the 30th death anniversary of Cliff Lee Burton (9/27/86), here's my drum cover of Metallica's Orion.

Far from perfect, there are mistakes throughout particularly at the end but I think the vibe is good enough. I just wanted to mark this tragic day with a drum cover tribute to a major shredder on the bass guitar.

Orion is off Metallica's landmark album Master Of Puppets, and this song features the genius of Cliff Burton. From the opening sequence based on Bach's "Come Sweet Death," to the middle bass based interlude and finally, his bass solo at the end, this song has Burton written all over it!

So here's my drum cover tribute to Cliff Burton--still a major loss to not only Metallica but music in general after all these years...
