We've gotten ourselves into a sticky situation! We're extracting #honey for our brand, Sweet Sophia LLC!
Now - we all know the bees do a lot of work, but there's a lot more effort before the honey gets to you. Here's a quick look into our Honey Extraction Process (a new service we're offering at The Bee Store LLC by the way)!
Once we've pulled our honey supers, we separate the frames, uncap the honey with a hot knife, and drop these honey-loaded frames into a spinning extractor where the centrifugal force will pull the honey from the frames and drain into a double filter.
Once sifted through the double filter, the honey sits for a few days allowing the air bubbles to exit the honey, then it's bottled and heads to The Bee Store waiting for hungry honey cravings.
The Bee Store now offers honey extraction services for other local beekeepers - so we get sticky, you get honey.
