Diwali puja is taking place at Devs's workplace in this episode. Following the puja, Dev gives Diwali presents to every worker in his organization. He also gives it to Sanjana, who initially declines but then agrees after Dev presses her. Sanjana chooses to cause trouble on Diwali after worrying about Sonakshi behaving cleverly in front of her. As Dev and Sonakshi prepare for the party, they praise one another and have a romantic talk. To celebrate Diwali, the family gathers on the yard and bursts crackers. After seeing something in the news, Ishwari becomes enraged with Dev in this episode and asks him to leave the house since she no longer wants to see his face. However, kids are constantly wondering why Sanjana and Dev were on TV, and Soha wants to sleep with Dev and Sonakshi. When Sonakshi won't leave the house, her brother comes to get her and tells her to have some self-respect. Sanjana comforts Dev, seeing this as her opportunity to win Dev's acceptance and win his affection.
