Violinist Shmuel Ashkenasi, co-director of the Ashkenasi/Kirshbaum Chamber Music Seminar at the Heifetz Institute, plays four of the little-known Pieces for Violin and Piano by Finnish composer Jean Sibelius. The pianist is Dina Vainshtein. Performed in concert in Francis Auditorium on the campus of Mary Baldwin University in Staunton, VA, as part of the Heifetz Institute's 2018 "Festival of Concerts."
