The beginning of our 13 minute excursion through TRIAL OF TEARS starts with none other than PART I. IT'S RAINING.. Dream Theater sets us up with an ambient attack of pure bliss in the Golden Temple Deep Within The Elemental Forest.. We are then taken through a series of riffs that set up the bigger picture of the song.. The difficulty level of part I. is not nearly as severe as part II.. If you're looking for an entry level into learning Dream Theater, this could be it. There are a couple of tricky bits but overall it's more about the song structure and the progression of ideas..
