Sella Brow to Austhwaite Brow | Lake District | Drive | 4K

Drive though the Lake District from Sella Brow to the King George lV pub, past mountains, fast flowing water, wildlife and changing scenery all in this one route.
This is one of my favourite roads in the whole UK starting in Broughton-in-Furness and ending in Eskdale.

I came across this route by accident while driving to film another video but got half way, turned around and started again while filming.


Broughton in Furness is a market town in the civil parish of Broughton West in the South Lakeland district of Cumbria, England. It had a population of 529 at the 2011 Census. It is located on the south western boundary of England's Lake District National Park in the Furness region of Cumbria, which was originally part of Lancashire before 1974.

Eskdale is a glacial valley and civil parish in the western Lake District National Park in Cumbria, England. It forms part of the Borough of Copeland, and in 2001 had a population of 264, increasing to 304 at the 2011 Census. One of the Lake District's most popular tourist attractions, the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway, runs through the valley, though along with other western valleys of the Lake District, Eskdale is notably quieter during the high summer season than the more accessible eastern areas.
