In this video I restore a deck hatch from an old ship. I bought it not knowing what I was going to do with it, I decided to make an in ground Beer Cooler. I clean and repair the hatch and use a piece of HDPE pipe to make the cooler portion. In this video I demonstrate some techniques for plastic welding HDPE. (high density poly ethylene) I installed this in my backyard, and with a little ice it keep my beer cold for hours. Special thank you to 2 of my grandchildren that wanted to be in a video.
