Students at Scroggins Elementary are riding into thanksgiving break on brand-new bicycles! That is thanks to Wish for Wheels, a nonprofit that brings bikes to students in title one schools. Wish for Wheels teamed up with Oxy for this event so second graders at Scroggins received new bikes and helmets. Volunteers from both organizations spent the yesterday afternoon building the bikes and personally handing them out, filling the campus with excitement, big smiles, and an unforgettable start to the holiday week.
