Former President of the Unemployment Association, Tundup Thinles, briefed about the public notice issued by the Ladakh Subordinate Services Staff Selection Board (LSSSSB) regarding candidates found ineligible for the posts of Safaiwala, Ladderman, Orderly, Farash, Chowkidar, Process Server, and Class IV employees.
According to the notice, candidates possessing educational qualifications higher than the prescribed maximum limit of 12th pass will be deemed ineligible for these posts.
Tundup Thinles stated that such a rule discourages many educated youth who, despite having higher qualifications, are struggling to find employment opportunities. He emphasized that the government should reconsider this restriction to ensure fair chances for all unemployed youth.
