FLOOPYVERSE is a retro-logical sci-fi adventure released in 2025 by JuanGm that takes the player to distant times where technology and memory have a whole new meaning; in the year 3088, the galaxy is destroyed by a catastrophe called the Checksum Collapse, a giant magnetic storm that erases almost all forms of permanent memory, causing civilisations across the Milky Way to lose knowledge of their past; Humanity's only hope is a small archival robot, the FLP-82, designed to find ancient data carriers resembling floppy discs hidden in forgotten orbital stations, abandoned structures, and megastructures drifting in the vacuum of space. the player guides FLP-82 through a series of increasingly difficult levels where every move matters — the robot glides forward until it encounters an obstacle, and the limited number of steps forces strategic planning; to save what remains of humanity's knowledge, you must collect all the floppy disks, activate the data terminal, and send the information to the research ship.
