Dunlop Chicane at Le Mans in 20 different racing games (1999 - 2024)

The 24 Hours of Le Mans 2025 are happening this week at the famous Circuit de la Sarthe in France and both the track and many cars that raced on it have been included in a variety of racing games. Here you can see the Dunlop Chicane in 20 different games with 20 different cars that have won the 24 hour race over the past 40 years. Enjoy the show!

The Circuit de la Sarthe has been included in over 20 different racing games already and I have selected exactly 20 of them for this video series. I have also picked 20 different cars that have won the race over the past 40 years and which are included in those games with the correct livery and starting number.

As usual I have included exactly the games and cars that I wanted to include and no games or cars were missed or forgotten. Of course there are other cars in some games that have won the race as well and there are even some more games that also feature the track. These are simply the games and cars that I have picked.

If I could start over with the project I would swap a few cars around to not have the Porsche 962C in a game where it is terrible but I didn't have time to redo everything in multiple games, so these combinations will have to suffice. Just understand that FM6 does not actually have much worse handling than FM7 and it's simply this car that is bad there. And don't comment on this poor car choice, as I have already acknowledged it here.

Gran Turismo has featured Le Mans in every game since GT4 and Forza Motorsport has featured it in every game since FM3. Project Cars only featured the track in the first two games.

Before 1990 the track did not have the two chicanes on the long straight and this old version is also featured in some games but I am only showing the modern version of the track in this video series.

The PS1 and PS2 had dedicated Le Mans games, which are sometimes considered the same game but are actually very different from each other. Some of the latest cars can be driven in Le Mans Ultimate, which is the official game of the FIA World Endurance Championship.

Most cars that won Le Mans over the past 40 years can be found in various racing games, although there are also some winners that can't be found in any game with the winning livery and even a few winning cars that can't be found at all, like the Jaguar XJR-12 from 1990.
