45212 Rocks the Capital: Black 5 Thunders out of London Euston with the Cheshireman - 2025

A short trip to London Euston, at dawn on a March Saturday. This is the first time I’ve shot at a London terminus, and the third railtour for Black Five 45212 in 2025, with the Cheshireman to Chester. The Black Five is first seen at platform after a poorly timed tube connection cost me filming the arrival into Euston, before thundering out, no doubt awaking residents nearby. 45212 would lead the tour to Chester and back in the evening. The departure was on time. 45212 is pencilled in to lead Railway Touring Company tours in England in 2025, being joined by A1SLT 60163 Tornado and SLL 34028 Eddystone later in the year.
