A simple, standard half-barrier level crossing located just a mile or so out of Paddock Wood in Kent, near the southernmost start of the Medway Valley Line up to Strood via Maidstone West. E2S 'Apello' alarms are in use here, though one is practically inaudible, whilst it does work. In this video, three separate activations are featured: two for local stopping passenger trains separated by one early light locomotive movement from Tonbridge to Grain. It came off of an empty oil train from Colnbrook near Heathrow earlier in the day and was heading back to Grain ready to take it back there after stabling in Tonbridge West Yard for a few hours while its load was re-fuelled with the aeroplane fuel it transports daily.
