In this video, we’re diving into reassembly of the Triumph TR4 gearbox. This time, we've got a secret weapon—a brand new sealant that’s pretty much bulletproof. We're going to use it to make sure this gearbox stays sealed and super reliable, no matter what. Along the way, we fix a stripped bolt hole on the housing, clean things up, and share some tips and tricks for assembly. Of course, not everything goes exactly to plan.
We have been fixing a leaking transmission seal, something we have been putting off for a long time. In the next few episodes, we will be going though the entire process of removing the gearbox from the Triumph TR4, investigating what went wrong, and fixing the problem for good.
