Walking the Cotswold Way Episode 1 | Chipping Campden to Broadway, Stanton & Stanway

We are walking all 105 miles of the Cotswold Way from Chipping Campden to Bath in aid of Sepsis Research. In this episode, we begin in Chipping Campden and make our way across Dover's Hill, where the Cotswold Games take place, and we look out onto the village of Saintbury. We then pass the folly of Broadway Tower, descending into the village of Broadway itself, before climbing the escarpment once again, over which we find Stanton, and finally the wonderful Stanway House.

Why are we doing this in aid of Sepsis Research? In 2023, Robin Shuckburgh suffered from Sepsis following time in hospital, where it really did look like he might not make it out. Eighteen months on, Robin's recovery has been miraculous - and for him to be able to walk 105 miles, even in short stints, is remarkable considering the effect that Sepsis has on people.
