RENEWI YOUR VLS-TS VISA- "TITRE DE SEJOUR" IN FRANCE -STEP BY STEP- FOR SENIOR EXPAT RETIREES

As Expats from the USA, Canada and other countries, who wanted to retire in France, first, we all had to apply for our VLS-TS Long Stay Visitor's Visa. Then, when that Visa is a few months from expiring, we apply to renew it and what we receive is a "Titre de Sejour" Resident's Card. THEN, it's time for the first renewal of that Titre de Sejour Resident's Card. WHAT do we need to do? The steps are almost identical to the steps to renew your VLS-TS Long Stay Visitor's Visa. So, if you watch our video you'll see the steps, one by one, on how to easily renew your Visa and receive your plastic "Titre de Sejour". So follow our video step by step. If you're renewing your VLS-TS for the FIRST time, the pages on your screen on the government website will be slightly different, but most of the information you'll need will be identical. So this video will serve as an excellent guide for first time renewers as well as others.

Hi! We are An and Jeff Scott, two happily retired septuagenarians from the USA, who had a dream. That dream was to retire in France. In 2024, close to 2 years ago, we sold, donated and gave away most of our lifetime’s collection of “stuff”, packed and shipped the rest, and with our bossy little Yorkie, Bella, said “goodbye” to the USA. We moved from the sunny coast of southwest Florida to the beautiful sunny coast of the south of France, to enjoy our “golden years” and embrace the “joie de vivre” available to us, here in beautiful Nice, France.

Moving from the USA to a foreign country was no small “project”. Through our videos, we’ve been taking you with us, through our videos, every step of the way, through the Long Stay Visa process, the packing, the purging, the moving, searching for an apartment, creating a great Dossier, exchanging our US driver’s licenses for France licenses, learning the way things are done administratively in France, learning new levels of patience and in our weekly vlogs, shared our daily life and what we’ve learned and continue to learn, day by day.
