A simple dibber but there's a catch - Skew chisel Woodturning.

In this video I make a simple garden dibber from green (unseasoned) ash wood on the woodturning lathe using only the skew chisel.

Turned entirely between centres with no chuck required making this a perfect woodturning project for beginners and a useful tool for any budding gardener.

As the title suggests, there is a catch with this piece, see if you can spot it.

Shaped, sanded, burnished with the shavings and ready for some green fingered action!
