This 1949 Ford Custom is for sale in our Louisville Kentucky showroom. Known as the shoebox Ford, this is the vehicle that brought ford back after the big war. This 49 ford is a really neat super clean Ford that has been meticulously rebuilt. Pop the hood and you will see the heart of this classic. A Ford Flathead V8 that has been put back together with a lot of attention. The covers have been treated with a gold heat resistant paint that really makes the motor stand out. The engine also has a new carburetor, plug wire, new plugs, voltage regulator, and a new master brake cylinder. This gem of a motor was hooked up to the original "three on the tree" transmission which is sure to take you back to a better time. The deep black paint looks great with its mirror finish. The chrome accents are the perfect touch to set the exterior of this 49 Ford apart from the rest. The bias ply tires are new as well.
