David Kiehn is the resident historian at NESFM, and has written the most comprehensive book on the subject of early filmmaking in Niles, titled "Broncho Billy and the Essanay Film Company." Here, Kiehn puts together the pieces to identify a location used in one of the most influencial American films ever made, "The Great Train Robbery," made in New Jersey in 1903.
