These baked chickpea balls are crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and incredibly filling! This simple recipe transforms simple ingredients such as chickpeas, sweet potatoes, spinach, onions, and spices into a delicious and nutritious meal. These chickpea balls are rich in plant protein, gluten-free, and easy to make. 📌 Ingredients:
• 250g Canned chickpeas
• 1 Sweet potato ( 250g )
• 1 Onion
• Ghee (substitute vegetable oil if you are vegan)
• 1 Clove of garlic
• 130g Frozen spinach
• 4 tbsp Chickpea flour
• 2 tbsp Oat bran
• ½ tsp Ground paprika
• ½ tsp Cumin
• Salt to taste
• Freshly ground pepper
• 50g Breadcrumbs
📌 Sauce:
• 3 tbsp Tomato sauce
• 1 tbsp Paprika paste
• 1 tbsp Mustard seeds
• 1 Pickled cucumber
• Fresh parsley and dill
