by this point we had spent all of our time in the big cities of china and so it was really refreshing to visit the chinese countryside as well!
our first stop was the river li viewpoint where we enjoyed the amazing view of the mountains and the river valley.
unfortunately it was a little rainy during our stay so i would love to return one day to see the beautiful landscape in the sun.
in the evening we went out and we got our dinner from a little food market in yangshuo, it was such fun to experience china a little bit on our own.
