We had one beautiful day with our sweet boy. When he died unexpectedly 21 hours later, we were in shock. I did not want this story. I did not want this outcome. I struggled with my own personal feelings and thoughts and as a mother I had to turn to healing my kids who were grieving too. Helping them with grief is crucial and I share with you how I accomplished that.
If there are others out there who can feel less alone then we have succeeded.
If this helps to spread awareness to a topic that mothers are left uneducated on, that will bring beauty to this story.
This story is not just ours. It’s his.
And He deserves to have it told and to be remembered.
