Roasted Red Pepper Specialty Bread - Ivo's easy version

Making Specialty bread right at home, with your regular oven, is not only very easily doable, but the bread comes out amazing!! Bakery quality bread, hot out of the oven, and my recipe for roasted red pepper bread, will surely become one of your favorites. Let me show you how easy it is :)
Specialty Bread Recipe – Ivo’s Roasted Red Pepper Bread
Ingredients
• 400 grams of any white flour (preferably best for bread flour, unbleached, sifted)
• 320 ml (or 320 grams) of skim milk i.e. 0% (or 320 ml/grams of water) at room temp
• 1 or 1 ½ tsp salt (if you like salt, use 1 1 /2 😊
• ¼ tsp instant yeast
• ½ cup or roasted red peppers, cut up into small pieces (like the size of a small peas) or alternatively, you can use ½ of any roasted red pepper paste
Instruction and Process
• Put all ingredients in a bowl and mix until all incorporated
• Cover and let stand for 12 – 14 hrs
• Remove from bowl, and give it 4 folds, shape into a round shape
• Place in a proofing basket, dusted with flour, or, you can use a plastic cutting board – just sprinkle oatmeal on your cutting board and place your dough on top. Cover and let stand for 2 hrs (use enough oatmeal, so the dough doesn’t stick to your cutting board)
• After 1 ½ hrs, put a dutch oven with lid, into the oven and preheat at 475 deg. (or substitute with any oven worthy pot with lid)
• 30 mins later, put dough into hot dutch oven, by tipping your proofing basket, or cutting board, over, then scar the top with a knife or scissors (1/8 – ¼ inch deep) and bake with lid on for 30 mins
• After 30 mins, remove the lid and continue to bake for another 6 – 15 mins (time will vary depending on your oven, and/or if you used water instead of milk)(water version typically takes a bit longer to cook, than the milk version does)
• Remove dutch oven from the oven, and remove the bread. Let bread cool on a rack, for at least 15 mins, 30 mins preferred
• Enjoy
