Exploration of Twitter's infrastructure of the past, present, and future
Over the last four years Twitter has become a communication platform for the world. This has resulted in explosive growth in the scale of our systems. This talk will cover the technical challenges that Twitter faced over the last 2+ years moving to a service oriented architecture (SOA) and the lessons learned along the way. In addition, it will describe some of the future technical opportunities for Twitter's platform, including data infrastructure and more sophisticated cloud infrastructure. http://www.cs.washington.edu/
