Knit crate Vidalana, Celestial Collection. Aran Weight.

#10.5 Knitting Needles (6.5mm).

k=knit

p=purl

yo=yarn over

Always make a yarn over after the first 3 and before the last 3 stitches, on the right side.

When there’s written only “k, p” and so on, without numbers, it’s always only one stitch per letter.

Seed Stitch= k, p and the next row you knit the purls and purl the knits, as they show.

Knits have a V and purls have a horizontal strand.

Cast on 5 stitches, any way you wish.

Seed stitch for 4 rows.

Repeat drom * to

Row 5.- k,p (kpk the middle stitch) p,k. =7 stitches.

Row 6.- k,p,k,p,k,p,k.

Row 7.- k,p,k, yo ,k, yo, k,p,k=9 stitches.

Row 8.- seed stitch the whole row.

Row 9.- k,p,k, yo, p,k,p, yo, k,p,k.=11 stitches.

Row 10.- k,p,k, p,p, k, p,p, k,p,k.

Row 11.- k,p,k, yo, k,p,k,p,k, yo, k,p,k=13.

Row 12.- seed stitch the whole row.

Row 13.- k,p,k, yo, *p,k, to last 4 stitches, p, yo, k,p,k=15 stitches.

Row 14.- k,p,k,p,*p,k,* to last 4 stitches, p,k,p,k.

Row 15.- k,p,k, yo, k,p, to last 4 stitches, k, yo, k,p,k=17 stitches.

Row 16.- seed stitch the whole row.

Row 17.- k,p,k, yo, p,k, to last 4 stitches, p, yo, k,p,k=19 stitches. (Same as row 13)

Row 18.- k,p,k,p,*p,k,* to last 4 stitches, p,k,p,k. ( Same as row 14)

Row 19.- k,p,k, yo, k,p, to last 4 stitches, k, yo, k,p,k=21 stitches. (Same as row 15)

Row 20.- seed stitch the whole row.

Row 21.- k,p,k, yo, p,k, to last 4 stitches, p, yo, k,p,k= 23 stitches. (Same as row 17)

Keep with this sequence until you have enough yarn to work 4 rows. I measured 16.5 yards.

Finishing rows:

1.- k,p,k, yo, k2tog until you have 3 or 4 stitches left, then finish with… yo, k,p,k.

2.- Seed Stitch the whole row.

3.- Seed Stitch the whole row.

Bind off in pattern.
