I so envy Tracy for her multilingual way of being in the world, her impeccable eye for celebrating the poetics of place, & for her thoughtful & gloriously appreciative review style. PS: This video is part 1 of my buddy read with Tracy. When Tracy outlined this venture to me, she also suggested pairing a novel of Stephen King with the poetry of Kenneth Rexroth. I immediately was sold. I hadn't read Rexroth in years, but was very excited about returning to him, so excited (in fact) that I didn't want to lose him in the grand King adventure, thus I will post my Rexroth video in my usual Monday time slot, next week. Rexroth, the glorious 'father' of the San Francisco Renaissance & Beats, deserves his own space, & I didn't think that I could do him justice alongside Stephen King (I hope this is ok).
