Jason Newell shows the complete process of cleaning tepary beans (Phaseolus acutifolius) at the Western Regional Plant Introduction Station (WRPIS), preparing them for seed storage. The WRPIS in Pullman, Washington maintains massive amounts of seeds for several collections of crops and their wild relatives. WRPIS is a part of the U.S. National Plant Germplasm System (NPGS).
