陶瓷修復的工具，真的是單一而標準化的嗎？

本集，郝國江分享對修復工具的見解：每件工具都有其獨特的意義。對文物修復師而言，工具並非「一式一樣」的標準品，不僅要妥善保存，更需要根據個人的使用習慣與修復需求，細細調整、打磨，讓工具與修復師之間的配合得宜。

談到修復技術，郝國江最擅長「無痕修復」，讓修復痕跡細緻到幾乎無法以肉眼辨識，而他最喜歡的卻是為作品「做減法」——看起來只做大約六成的技術呈現，減少炫技或個人風格的介入，著重於呈現文物本身的狀態，讓其特質延續下去。

Are tools for ceramic conservation uniform and standardised?

In this episode, Hao Guojiang shares his views on conservation tools: each one has its own unique role. For a conservator, tools are rarely identical or standardised. They must be carefully maintained, but more importantly, subtly adapted and refined to suit the conservator’s habits and the needs of each treatment, so that hand and tool work in perfect harmony.

Speaking of technique, Hao describes his specialty as “invisible restoration”, making repair traces so fine that they are almost undetectable to the naked eye. What he enjoys most, however, is the art of “doing less” — revealing only about 60% of his technical skill, resisting the urge to show off crasftmanship or personal style, and instead focusing on preserving the object’s original state so that its character can endure.
