香港人道新力量2024得獎者 李曦醫生 Awardee of the Hong Kong Humanity Youth Power 2024 - Dr Philip LI

李曦醫生是免疫及過敏病科醫生，對遺傳性血管性水腫（HAE）在本港的診治發展不遺餘力。在本港未有相應藥物時，他嘗試聯絡各地藥廠，尋找合適藥物。由於藥物昂貴，他與團隊多年來收集病患數據，促成HAE藥物的本地註冊並成為政府津貼藥物，令一般病患者能夠承擔費用。未來他將著眼研究HAE的預防，協助病人獲得正常生活。

Dr Philip LI is an immunologist who spares effort in developing the diagnosis and treatment of Hereditary Angioedema (HAE) in Hong Kong. When appropriate medications were not available locally, he tried to contact medicine companies worldwide to find suitable medication. Due to the high cost of medication, he and his team have collected patient data over the years, leading to the local registration of HAE medications and their inclusion as subsidized medication under the public healthcare system, enabling ordinary patients to afford the costs. In the future, he will focus on researching HAE prevention to help patients lead normal lives.
