While many spent Thanksgiving with their family, Red Cross volunteers dedicated their time to assisting those displaced by a recent apartment fire in Syracuse.
The fire on Nov. 23, triggered by a car crashing into the building and rupturing a gas line on Butternut Street, left tenants without homes. Volunteers gathered at Onondaga Community College to provide support and ensure affected families had what they needed.
