YES! Water The Odds is a 1967 26-foot Lyman Cruisette, not a 1966 as I erred in the clip.

We have almost finished her shooting intake photography and releasing and cataloguing everything attached to her teak decks covering boards and exterior.
• Shauna Whiting, Kocian Instruments in Stacy, MN will rebuild the gauges as needed.
• D&S Custom Metal Restoration in Holyoke, MA will transform her tired hardware into sparkling jewelry.
• Robert Henkel, Peter Henkel, INC. will re-power her by building a Chris-Craft Q-Series Fresh Water Cooling 350 CID with 1.25 reduction gearing that will generate 370 HP.
• RAYCO Tanks in Jamestown, KY will fabricate a 50-gallon fuel tank for her.

The rest of her preservation is ours to enjoy fully. Following is the b3eginning of the Scope of Work awaiting us….
• Her engine, interior and bilge components have been almost completely released.
• The bottom will be totally stripped, refastened, and sealed with four coats of Smith’s Clear Penetrating epoxy sealer, primed and coated with saltwater-safe antifoul.
• Her exterior topsides will be will be sanded fair, while the strake seams will be sealed with Total Boat Thixo Flex, before being primed and coated glistening semi-gloss white.
• Her decks, covering boards and transom will be stripped to bare wood, stained, and sealed with four coats of CPES, while her windshield, coamings will be sanded fair. All surfaces will be varnished.
• Her teak swim platform has been released, and will be cleaned and oiled anew.
• All her mechanicals will be updated
• We will completely re-wire her, while also updating her plumbing
• Virtually 100 percent of her original wood above the waterline, including her incredibly sound transom, will be saved.
• Her bilge will be thoroughly degreased and cleaned, and recoated with Sandusky Lyman Sand Tan Bilge Paint.
• Her cuddy cabin will be thoroughly cleaned and likely left in what appears to be excellent user condition.
