Ever wondered what a Cotswold village looks like at 5 AM on a summer morning?
That’s exactly what we are exploring in Minster Lovell, tucked beside the River Windrush in Oxfordshire. With golden light, soft shadows, and almost no one around, it’s a peaceful dreamland come to life.

Minster Lovell Hall Ruins: Contains remnants of the 15th-century manor, built by William Lovell around 1440.

Ghostly Legend: Legend says the skeleton of Francis Viscount Lovell was found in a secret vault in the 1700s—and locals still claim to hear ghostly noises and see mysterious figures wandering the ruins

Thatched Cottages & Riverbank: Honey-coloured cottages and ancient stone buildings reflect beside the crystal-clear Windrush River.

St Kenelm’s Church & Village Life: The parish church was rebuilt in the 15th century. Walk with me pass traditional lanes, and pass the Old Swan Inn and Minster Mill Hotel, all part of village life that feels timeless yet full of character.
