कर्नाटक की कांग्रेस सरकार जन्मदोष का शिकार है। २०१८ से गांधी परिवार ऐसे वादे कर रहा है जिन्हें पूरा करने की उसकी क्षमता ख़त्म हो चुकी है। इसका नतीजा यह हुआ कि छत्तीसगढ़, राजस्थान और मध्यप्रदेश में उसे सत्ता से बाहर जाना पड़ा । इन तीनों प्रदेशों में निकट भविष्य में उसके सत्ता में आने की संभावना बहुत कम है। इन तीन राज्यों की कहानी अब कर्नाटक में दोहराई जा रही है। इसलिए कर्नाटक की सरकार तो ख़तरे में है ही, राज्य में पार्टी का भविष्य भी अंधकारमय लग रहा है। पर इस बार गांधी परिवार की चुनौती पहले की तुलना में ज़्यादा बड़ी है। हालात ऐसे मोड़ पर पहुंच गए हैं कि समस्या को अब और टालना कठिन हो गया है। ऐसे में कांग्रेस का अंदरूनी संकट बढ़ता जा रहा है।
