Apologies for some of the bounciness on some of my filming because the heat and sun made it very difficult and the platforms were narrow as well which didn't help either.
Hatfield Peverel is located 35 miles from London Liverpool Street was first opened in Late 1844 however burnt down 5 years later. It was later rebuilt in 1878 and even had the name Hatfield Perveril which was amended 2 years later.
Goods sidings based on a plan drawn up in 1897 were built here with 2 on the London side of the line whilst another on the other side towards the country end which also would include a refuge siding however Goods Traffic at the station ceased in 1960 and the sidings were taken up. Even at one stage to the west was a private station called Boreham House which opened in 1843 before closing in 1877.
