Join Me to Help Save Maui Dolphins! - WWF Challenge 55

I have been asked by WWF to be a part of their current efforts to help save the Maui Dolphin. Maui Dolphins are native New Zealand dolphins - the smallest and rarest dolphins in the world. They are rapidly going extinct, and without being taking their need seriously and being their voice they will be gone in the next 15years.

WWF is doing a challenge 55 campaign for the last 55 Maui dolphins. My challenge is to go without waste for 55 days, I think it's going to be a huge learning curve! I look forward to sharing my experience with you.

The Dolphin footage in this video was supplied by Elizabeth Slooten, Professor at Otago University and specialist in Marine Mammal conservation.

55km run
55 random acts of kindness
55 local businesses fundraise - asking them for a donation for Maui Dolphins
55 posters with Maui dolphin and saying which fish to boycott - putting out near fish and chip shops
55 friends/family to send emails to minister of conservation Maggie Barry explaining that we want her to change regulation banning gill nets / trawling in maui and hector dolphin range; [email protected]
55hours without technology
... anything really, get creative :D
