It is understood that sometimes in politics there will be fights, even among members of the same party. That was the case this week in Washington as a Republican president endorsed a Republican member of congress to defeat a Republican incumbent Senator.
We will look at some of the maneuvers in what will be a volatile year at the congressional level. Meanwhile the sale of a high-rise office building and the conversion of a shutdown naval facility provide hope of revival for two business area neighborhoods. And there are high hopes too at City Park where an ambitious master plan reaches the implementation stage.
